symerase.pl is now available

ITPassion has just finished writing the first version of symerase.pl. symerase.pl is an open source, GPLv3 licensed, script that will erase the contents of Symmetrix devices so that these devices can be re-used. This is particularly useful in Storage Service Provider environments where devices are regularly re-used by multiple clients. This script prevents data from being accessible across these clients.
